The ancient legends tell us that the conquistadors dreamed of discovering the mythical city where the roads were covered with gold and precious stones. Vasco Núñez de Balboa, discoverer of the Pacific Ocean in Panamanian lands, had knowledge of this city through his loved princess Anayansi, daughter of the chief Careta.
