The Opening Gala will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Louvre Banquet Hall, located at the 1767 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027, in conjunction with the Ambassador Awards Gala, hosted by Viva Panama Organization, having as especial guest, Rosario Mayela, Queen of Las Tablas Calle Arriba 2016, and the recognition of distinguished Panamanians who have contributed to the as Ambassador Award Honorees: Julio Hanson, Versatile Entertainer; Elmis Castillo, Actor/Director; Nikki Campbell, Drum Virtuosa; Guillermo Ameer, Biomedical Pioneer; and Horacio Prado, Master Designer.
FFPAF 2017 will screen feature films and short films, representing the harvest of the film industry in Panama, along with Q&A panels, and a special Tribute to the Panamanian Carnival. Your Gala ticket gives you a VIP entrance to the Film Festival, general admission is also free, but registration is needed. Films from Panama & the Americas Festival (FFPAF) will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at the iconic Egyptian Theater, located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028, and is proud to present the following new feature films to play in its main program (click button at the right side - Program).
