History:
Ballet Folklorico Viva Panama consists of a group of talented individuals; from diverse professional fields, who enjoy sharing their culture through music and dance. Its main goal is to provide audiences with a high quality sample of the spirit and flavor of Panama.
This dance company's repertoire is composed of original pieces approached with a contemporary vision, striving to preserve the originality and authenticity in the rhythms and movements of the traditional dances, Viva Panama brings forth the true spirit of the Panamanian people.
Currently, Ballet Folklórico Viva Panama maintains a full performance schedule all year long throughout California, other states and other countries. The company have performed in Texas, Nevada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.
Ballet Folkorico Viva Panama has been invited to perform in Italy, Turkey, Ecuador, Greece, etc. This year we will perform at the12th China Shanghai International Performing Arts Fair, and the World Expo Shanghai .
